Mr. Robert Wayne Rhone was born August 27, 1962 in Roxton, Texas to the parentage of Norma Rhone, and the late Robert E. Rhone. On Sunday, January 10, 2021 he heard the master’s call, and made his earthly transition from labor to reward. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Rhone; Brothers, Stanley Rhone (Demetria), and Cedric Rhone (Nicole); niece, TaQuisha McCray-Booker; and aunts, Pauline Dismuke, Glenda Wright, Maelene Taylor, Doris Bennett, Toye Kines, Clemmie Yates, and Norma Jean Austin.
Robert attended school in Roxton ISD.
He attended the Rocky Ford Missionary Baptist Church, where he loved helping keep up the church.
Robert was an AMAZING father, grandparent, brother, son, partner, and friend! For several years, he served over the Rocky Ford cemetery. His many hobbies consisted of being outside, watching cars, and truck, cooking/ barbequing, and most of all conversating with all he came in contact with.
Robert was employed by Goodyear, retiring after 19 years. Currently, he was employed by the City of Greenville for 15 years.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his loving mother, Norma Rhone; sons, DeTorrian Rhone, Robert Rhone, X’Zavias Rhone Sr., long-time partner, Catina Shamlin; step-son, Clifford (Karen) Shamlin of Terrell, Texas, Marcus (Karen) Shamlin of Terrell, Texas, and Onterio (Amber) Blaylock; sisters, Tracy (Billy Swans) Bills of Dallas, Texas, Trina (Randy) Guess of Hugo, Oklahoma; Brother, Juan Wesson; aunts, Betty Young, Charlene Campbell, Marie Burns; grandchildren, Raleigh Rhone, Reighn Rhone, Roxton Rhone, Kadence Rhone, X’Zavious Rhone Jr., Jaylen Hobbs, Caleb Blaylock, MaKayla Blaylock, Haylie Blaylock, Clifford Mapps, Clifford Shamlin, and Marcus Shamlin. Also, he leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, and friends
