Odis Ray Gordon

Mr. Odis Ray Gordon was born on October 14, 1945, in Upshur County, Texas to the parentage of Katherine Gordon and Jim Gordon, he is preceded in death by both parents; brothers RC Gordon, Bradford Gordon and Lonzi [beloved wife Jean] Gordon.

He received his education from Upshur County Schools and went to work to help take care of the family.

Mr. Gordon accepted Christ at an early age and attended New Home Baptist Church in Gladewater, Texas and later joined True Grace Church in Gladewater, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Ford where he served as deacon.

Left to cherish is memories is his daughter Amanda Jean Gordon; sons Christopher Green and Timothy Green; brothers Walter Gordon, RL Gordon, Manzell Gordon, Johnny Gordon, Benny Rufus Gordon and Lonnie Gordon; two sisters Marie Flossie Carr and Lula Harper; fourteen   grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
