Mr. Kerry York Obituary

Mr. Kerry Quinn York was born on December 28, 1963 in Longview, Texas, to his father Cleo and Kay Francis Neal York.  He was a resident of Longview, Texas and a graduate of Pine Tree High School; class of 1981. 

Kerry accepted Christ at an early age and grew up attending Willow Springs, later in life he joined Bethel Missionary Baptist church were his family loved to worship. 

Kerry was married to his wife ,Shelia York, for 35 years.

Kerry was known for his passion with race cars, being outspoken, and having a loving relationship with his grandchildren. Kerry worked for Benchmark Industrial for 11 years  were he became a supervisor, he considered Benchmark to be his second family.

On January 30, 2020 Mr. York transitioned from labor to reward. He will reunite in Heaven with his father, Cleo York; grandfather, Lucilious Neal; grandmother, Murtie Neal; and aunt, Ida Jewel Alexander.

He leaves to cherish his memories  a devoted and loving wife, Shelia York; two loving daughters, Carrie Norris Pickron and Shauntell White (Markeith); a devoted son, LaKendrick Miller; an adopted daughter, Jessica Saddler; mother, Kay York; beloved grandchildren, Dieon'Trae, Dah’Kyriean, Ledarian, Peyton, Adrian, Markarius, and Markevian; sister, Robecca Shaibu; brother, Demond Chaseberry; three additional siblings; special uncles, Romeo York and James Neal; and a host of aunts,uncle,nieces,nephews, cousins, and friends.
