Markus Martin Obituary

Markus DeWayne Martin, was born on Monday, December 15, 2008, in Moore, Oklahoma to Stormie Martin.

Markus was an 8th grade student at Henderson Middle School, previously transferring from Chapel Hill Junior High, who loved all things outdoors. He loved riding horses, fishing, doing tricks on his BMX bike, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes, fixing things around the house, and he was known for pulling a prank or two. He had a love animals, horses and lions were his favorites. Markus was a HUGE fan of America’s team, THE DALLAS COWBOYS; favoring Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott.

Even at his tender age of 14, Markus knew who God was and he enjoyed attending church with his family at Trinity Holy Temple.

In the late evening of Friday, May 12, 2023, Markus went to be with God. Upon his arrival to Heaven, he was greeted by his sister, Heaven Martin; and his dog, Dozer.

Markus was a joy to be around and will be missed by all who knew him, including his loving mother; Stormie Martin of Chapel Hill, Texas; stepfather, Greggorey Brown of Henderson, Texas; brothers, Skkyler Sanchez, Evan Martin, and Micah Martin, all of  Chapel Hill, Texas; grandmother, Tina Staples of Chapel Hill, Texas; grandfather, Kendall Bailey of Moore, Oklahoma; great grandmothers, Linda Lewis of New London, Texas and Betty Jewel of Moore, Oklahoma; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
