Lynda Jo (Benton) McDonald

Lynda Jo McDonald, 73, died after a stroke on July 28, 2022 at Christus Good Shepherd Hospital. She worked her adult life working beside her husband David McDonald at McDonald Lighting in Longview, Texas.

Lynda was preceded in death by her daughter Shelley McDonald, brother Lloyd Benton and her husband David McDonald.

She is survived by her son, Shane [Mary] McDonald, her grandsons Tanner Woods and Cameron McDonald and his sons Carson and Cason, her granddaughter Morgan Woods, her son-in law Zack Woods, her sister-in-law Evelyn Jordan and her husband Rolo, her nephew Jeff Hill and Julie, her niece Sherry Bell and her brothers, Donald Benton and wife Becky, Danny and wife Pam, Robbie and wife Eva, her sister Kathy Austin and many nieces and nephews.

Lynda will be sadly missed and always hold a place in our hearts. On August 11, 2022 at 10AM, the family invites you to attend a Celebration of Life at Rosewood Memorial Funeral Home, 401 N. 5th Street in Longview, Texas.
