James Ellis Jackson was born on December 30, 1956 in Denton, Texas. He was a beloved father, brother and son. He loved the Lord and his family. He was a member of the Open Range Cowboy Church in Gilmer, Texas.
He spent his long hard days as a sought after landscaper and enjoyed the outdoors. He also trained his beloved longhorn bull 'Buff' and they spent much time traveling to community events and fairs. Buff was the center of the party for giggling children and adoring adults.
James is now resting with his parents Dorothy Beard and JB Jackson and his brother Randall Brett Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memories , his children James Ellis Jackson Jr., Randall Brett Jackson, Natasha Fay Jackson and Symmetric Jackson-Henegar; 16 grandchildren; brothers Henry Inmon Jr. and Rumbo Jackson; sisters Kathy Lynn Weeks and Ronda Jackson; girlfriend Cindy Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was loved by all and his personality kept you laughing or dancing to his made up music.
