Mr. Herman Moore Jr. was born August 14, 1944, in Winona, Texas to the parentage of Herman Moore Sr. and Annie Mae Jackson-Moore.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patricia Benninger; brothers Cleo Moore, Samuel Moore and Charles Moore; sisters Gwendolyn Cuba; and grandson Chazman Deshon Gipson.
Mr. Moore was a graduate of Winona High School.
He accepted Christ at a young age and because of his love for God he used his musical gifts to serve until he was called home. Herman was a member of Gentry Temple Church of God and Christ- Coffee City.
Herman Moore Jr. worked for Stone Container in Owentown, Texas and Transit Mix in Tyler, Texas and various other companies before retiring and becoming at home caretaker. He spent much of his spare time out on the water with his hook because fishing brought him peace. He also enjoyed wood carving, playing music and hunting.
Herman Moore Jr. leaves to cherish his memories three daughters Desonya [Henry] Crosby, Latoya [Anthony] Easley, and Kristy Walton; sons Anthony [Jazzmone] Moore, Herman Moore III, Robert Benninger and stepson Richard Benninger; sisters Eula Wells, Ruthie Clay and Nancy [William] Franklin; brother Anderson Moore; 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, many many friends and loved ones.
