Life Story of Deriana Symone Alford
On April 11, 2007, an angel was born in Longview, Texas named Deriana Symone Alford.
To family and friends, she was known as “FaFa” and indeed was a pretty amazing person once you got to know her. She was the oldest of two siblings and grew up to be a child who enjoyed life at its fullest. To know Deriana was such an amazing privilege as she was the most loving, compassionate and kind person you knew. Deriana enjoyed family game nights, sitting outside by the fire, playing in make-up, fishing on the lake, and most of all being a hair model for her sister, Isis. Deriana had a smile that would light up the room and a spirit that demonstrated her love for God. She loved spending time with her brother, Ashton, and taught him how to have a kind heart indeed. When these two are together, they are inseparable and that friends is pure love. To him that was his “Sissy”, whom was his best friend.
Deriana was a member of Mallelieu United Methodist Church although she professed her love for Christ in her early teen years. She was also a volunteer at Thrive 360, where she helped transform the lives of many teens. She left a mark on this world that will never be forgotten.
Deriana last attended Gladewater High School where she resides. Deriana always had aspirations of becoming a nurse, so that she could take care of others, as she was so thankful in life for those who took care of her in time of need.
Deriana Symone Alford entered into her eternal home on January 1,2023. Although we may think she was taken way too soon; the Lord has other plans for her in His kingdom at this time. Everlasting memories will be treasured by all those who knew and Loved Deriana very much.
