Oscar Olvera was born on July 25, 1998, in Tyler, Texas to Adela Olvera and Oscar Olvera Rico. Oscar was one of four children. He worked as a CNA at the Chandler Nursing Center. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, whether it was going out to eat or staying home to watch movies. He graduated from Brownsboro High School, class of 2017. He came to believe in a greater power and was curious to learn. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Adela Olvera and Oscar Olvera Rico; brothers and sisters, Ricky, Casandra and Adriana; paternal grandparents, Guadalupe Olvera Suarez and Juana Rico Aguilar; maternal grandparents, Rogelio Castillo and Enedina Trejo; his paternal aunts and uncles, Alejandro Eliya, Mary, Emanuel, Tonyo and Juana Rosa; maternal aunts and uncles, Juan Pablo and Rita Requena, Alejandro and Medelyn Requena, Gorgina and Rene Zavala, Ricardo Castillo and Maria Garcia; his cousins, Paula, Diego, Alejandra, Alejandro, Jr., Miguel, Ashley, Angel, Jesus, Paula Cantu, Gorgina Castillo and Ricardo, Jr.; and his friends, Keyle Guevara, Adelina Gutierrez, Megan Walker, Emmanuel Velasquez, Susie Romero, Kendra Jackson and Nicole Adair.
