Carl Ray Eddington was born on October 3rd, 1968 in Paris Tx to the Parentage of the late Otis Eddington and Earlene Marie Eddington. He attended West Lamar/Delmar High School in Paris, Texas. He later entered Gary Job Corps in San Marcos Tx where he received his GED and Certificates of Completion in Culinary and Welding Skills. Carl Ray was employed at several local restaurants during his lifetime and was known for his wonderful cooking talents there and at home.
Carl Ray United with the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church at an early age with his Parents and Siblings. He grew up singing in the Youth and Adult Choir as he got older. He loved participating in Sunday School and many Church Activities. He truly had a love for all music especially Gospel and Blues. He love to harmonize and sing blues songs. His favorite Artist were Johnny Taylor and Tyrone Davis. Even during his hospital stay, he didn’t mind making the nurses smile by singing to them.
On October 9, 2019 Carl transitioned from labor to reward. He will reunite in Heaven with his parents, Otis Eddington and Earlene Eddington, three Sisters: Margie Davis Mims, Deanna Eddington Flowers, and Sharonda Eddington. One Brother: Albert Smith
He leaves to Cherish his memory, Special Life Partner of over 35 yrs, Khersynthia Brown of Paris Tx, one daughter, Cornisha Brown, three Sons, Cartillous(Scooter) Brown, Carl Ray Eddington JR(CJ), Octavious Ewing all of Paris, Tx. Five Grandchildren who he loved dearly.
