Lawrence Edward Dixon

Mr. Lawrence Edward Dixon , was born on December 28, 1956 in Longview Texas, to Lawrence Edward Dixon and Helen Joyce Dixon. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Dixon, grandparents Walter Mack, Ophelia Denton,  Marie Winkey, Sylvester Mayfield Sr, and a host of uncles, aunts, a niece and cousins. Mr. Dixon Longview ISD Schools until the 10th grade. At that time he joined Job Corps in Gary IN, where he received his high school diploma as well as trained as a brick masonry. Lawrence was also a master carpenter, and yes he could build a house from the ground up. He was a loving son, father, brother, and friend, and he left everyone he met with a smile on their face.

He is survived by his mom Helen Williams; his children, Christie Ford Campbell ( Kendrick) of Longview, TX, DeSheala Dixon of Bakersfield, CA; Brothers- Walter Earl Dixon, Ricky Dixon (Cynthia) Larry Davis (Doris) Donald Davis (Lu Kendra) all of Longview, TX Craig Dixon (Pearlethea) Terry Dixon; Sisters- Margaret Dixon, Susette Silas, Raquel Dixon, all of Ft. Worth , TX. Aunts- Eva Baham , Elizabeth Parker both of Longview ,TX Uncles - Pastor Rayford Ingram, Lee Andrea Benton both of Longview, TX. He also leaves to cherish his grandchildren Andrew, Ramses, and Thomas all of Bakersfield ,CA and a special friend LaCuna Hamilton; a host of family and friends.
