ETHEL LEE MORRISON was born to the parentage of Robert Elder, Sr and Ruby Lee Elder on June 19, 1937 in Gilmer, Texas.  She departed this life on Monday, May 14, 2018 at University Health Medical Center, Tyler, Texas.

At an early age, Ethel attended Gilmer and Hawkins Independent School Districts.  She later resided in Tucson, AZ where she lived with son, Jackie Morrison for thirty years.  In 2014, she returned to East Texas till transition from this life.

Ethel was married to James Morrison for thirty – two years until his passing in 1983.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Elder, Sr. and Ruby Lee Elder, husband James Morrison, two brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by her children, Jackie M. Morrison (Pittsburg, Tx), Ruthie A, Morrison (Houston, Tx), Jimmy D. Morrison (Tyler, Tx), Eddie W. Morrison (Houston, Tx), Willie J. Morrison (Dallas, Tx), Sandra G. Morrison (Tyler, Tx), Yvette M. Hankey (Gary) (Pittsburg, Tx) and Linda Young (Charles) (Winona, Tx); one sister, Rosie Smith (Hawkins, Tx), a special sister in law Ethel D Morrison, eighteen grandchildren, 38 great grand children and a host of nephews and nieces.
