Eliza Ann Grant

Mrs. Eliza Ann Grant  “ Nanny” of Gilmer, Texas was born on July 6, 1944 in Gilmer, Texas to the parentage of Evelyn Jeffery of Gilmer, Texas and George C. Boyd of Elam Spring. She departed her life on Friday, January 11, 2019 in Longview, Texas. Eliza was raised in Gilmer, Texas where she attended Bruce High School and furthered her education at Jarvis Christian College.

Eliza was the type of person that never met a stranger. She was a kind, loving mother, grandmother and great grand-mother and a wise friend.

Eliza was preceded in death by her husband (Lewis Grant) and her mother and father

Eliza leaves behind one daughter Teresa Brooks (Richard Harris); four grand children, Bobby Brooks Jr., Sasha Brooks, Rayvene Harris, and Roderick Harris (Dalton Harris); five great-grand-children, Tra'Kiriya Henson, Travelle Nelson, Tamara Nelson, T’Asia Nelson, and Zy’Riq Harris; and a host of cousins and friends.
