Evelyn (Landon) Boyd

Evelyn Joyce Landon Boyd was born July 15, 1953, to the late Dossie Landon Christopher and Jessie Landon in Jacksonville, Texas.

At an early age she joined Pennel Chapel, where she was reared in the Pine Grove community. She attended church and school in the Pine Grove community, and also Fred High School.  She met and married the love of her life, Tommy Lee Boyd, they shared over 50 years together. To this union two children were born, Contrina Boyd and Derrick Boyd.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 50 years, Tommy Lee Boyd; daughter, Contrina Boydl; son, Derrick Boyd; grandchildren, Ahomd, Sasha, Ahamdrick, DeVonta, Bra’kiya, Sa’Niya, Shunterial, Tamarial, and Qua’Derrick; 6 great grandchildren, a special great great granddaughter that she raised, SaNiya; and host of other relatives and friends that will forever cherish her memory.
